GS Yuasa has launched the Yuasa Scooter Battery Range, designed for the European two-wheeler market. The collection includes 15 new batteries with capacities from 4.2 Ah to 11.8 Ah (20 hr), targeting everyday and leisure-use scooters where value is a primary factor.
The range features two distinct options: Conventional Flooded batteries for straightforward installation and Sealed AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) models for spill-proof, maintenance-free use. While this range is aimed at cost-conscious riders, those with high mileage or delivery requirements are advised to continue using Yuasa’s premium YTX and YTZ series. Theo den Hoed, Motorcycle Product Manager at GS Yuasa Battery Europe Ltd, stated:

It extends our expertise into a fast-growing market segment and gives customers a trusted, affordable option backed by Yuasa’s long-standing reputation for quality.”
These batteries incorporate technologies such as “Sulfate Stop” to extend cycle life and improve vibration resistance. Although the design is simplified to reach a more competitive price point, the products are manufactured to the same standards as the brand’s original equipment (OE) components.
The introduction of this dedicated line allows Yuasa to offer comprehensive coverage across the two-wheeler sector. The new scooter range is now available through GS Yuasa distributors.
