OSRAM has added two new references to its LEDriving HL EASY XEN range, marking the company’s entry into the LED Xenon replacement segment. The new D1S and D3S units join the existing D5S to provide a compact LED alternative for conventional xenon high and low beam bulbs.
The range is designed for 12V and 24V vehicles, featuring a 6,500K colour temperature and a broader light distribution. To manage thermal performance, the bulbs incorporate a high-speed fan for active cooling. Terri Clark, Lighting Marketing Manager at OSRAM, stated:
“By expanding our EASY range into the HID segment with LEDriving HL EASY XEN, we’re giving consumers and distributors access to a growing LED upgrade opportunity within the HID market and this new range marks OSRAM’s entry into the LED Xenon replacement segment.”
The “EASY” product line utilizes a Plug and Play design to simplify the installation process by removing the need for additional accessories often required for LED conversions. Clark added:
“The simple Plug & Play design and broad vehicle compatibility make it an attractive, easy to sell solution for the modern aftermarket.”
