MANN-FILTER Secures German Brand Award for Lignin 360-Degree Campaign

MANN-FILTER has received the German Brand Award from the German Design Council, securing first place in the brand communication category: “Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation, Brand Communication – 360° Campaign.” This recognition follows the brand’s previous German Design Award win for its lignin project launch campaign.

The global premium brand, manufactured by MANN+HUMMEL, uses lignin—a renewable raw material—in selected air and oil filters. The impregnation process partially replaces fossil-based components to reduce resource consumption.

Mario Milinovic, Brand Manager MANN-FILTER, said:

“The German Brand Award confirms our ambition to effectively combine sustainability, innovation, and successful brand management at MANN-FILTER. We are especially pleased that our lignin campaign is now being recognized once again by the German Design Council. It shows that this approach is compelling both creatively and strategically. A big thank-you goes to our partner agency FACT from Kirchheim/Teck, whose creative ideas and strong execution played a key role in shaping the campaign,”

The accolade represents the fourth external award for the lignin filtration project overall, alongside the PARTSLIFE Environmental Award, the CLEPA Innovation Award, and the German Design Award.
