Digital Servicebook has introduced ‘Easy Upload’, a feature enabling workshops to create digital service records directly from customer invoices without operating a garage management system (GMS).
To use the process, workshops send customer invoices via email while adding [email protected] as a BCC recipient. The platform automatically parses the invoice, matches the data to the correct vehicle, and creates a dated entry in the central vehicle record.
Key features include:
- Zero manual re-entry: Existing invoicing processes serve as the primary data source to eliminate duplicate admin
- No software installation: Operates with existing email invoicing setups without extra hardware or software
- Included in subscription: Available to active Digital Servicebook account holders at no additional cost
Activation is completed within account profile settings under ‘Integration’.
The feature is designed to help independent and smaller workshops transition away from paper records without requiring investment in full management software, ensuring complete service histories remain accessible for future repairs, warranty checks, and vehicle resale.
