Delphi is aiming to become the leading supplier of steering and suspension parts in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region through a significant product expansion and support program.
The initiative focuses on adding over 1,000 new part numbers (SKUs) annually for the next three years, ultimately aiming to provide coverage for more than 180 million vehicles.
“We’re set on becoming the number one steering and suspension supplier,” said Laurence Batchelor, Global Product Lead for chassis, braking, and steering and suspension at Delphi. “By ensuring more than 180 million vehicles in the EMEA region are covered, we’re giving workshops unparalleled access to the parts they need.”
The expanded range will encompass various components, including control arms, ball joints, engine mounts, and tie rods. Delphi will also introduce specific steering and suspension kits for popular car brands like Volkswagen Group and BMW.
Recognising the growing electric vehicle (EV) market, Delphi includes over 50 EV-specific part numbers, covering vehicles like the Tesla Model Y, Volkswagen ID.3, and Hyundai IONIQ 5.
Beyond parts, Delphi emphasises technician support through training resources and diagnostics tools. Their “complete workshop solutions” concept provides technical training and online content specifically focused on steering and suspension systems.
Delphi’s DS diagnostic software offers functionalities like sensor calibration and air suspension support. The company also offers a library of technical resources and instructional videos on their online hub to assist technicians further.
