Delphi has received the ‘Best Stand Award’ at the UK Garage & Bodyshop Event, concluding two days of trade interactions, technical presentations, and product showcases.
Visitors attended the stand to review the company’s product developments, training initiatives, and technical support provisions. Technical staff hosted sessions inside the Delphi Tech Van, providing attendees with diagnostic insights, repair procedures, and information regarding emerging vehicle technologies.
Aliya Lam, UK Country Director at PHINIA Delphi UK, participated in two scheduled sessions during the exhibition. Lam joined the IAAF Garage Den panel discussion to provide progress updates on a collaborative project with Shaikly Motor Company. She also delivered a presentation titled ‘The business case for quality’, which detailed how capital investment in training, upskilling, and component selection impacts long-term workshop efficiency.
Lam commented: “The UK Garage & Bodyshop Event continues to be one of the key dates in our events calendar, so to come away with the Best Stand Award is a fantastic achievement for the whole team.”
Lam added: “What was particularly encouraging was the level of engagement we had with visitors. Workshops are increasingly looking beyond price alone and focusing on quality, training and technical support. Those conversations align perfectly with Delphi’s mission to help customers improve efficiency, profitability and confidence in the workshop.”
The company also utilized the event to promote its ‘Make Some Noise. Delphi – Built for Silence’ marketing campaign, which outlines six core pillars focused on braking quality, safety, and performance.
Lam noted: “Events like UK Garage & Bodyshop are invaluable because they allow us to have face-to-face conversations with the people we support every day – which you just cannot beat!”
