GS Yuasa has announced the launch of the Yuasa YBX9625 AGM Super Heavy Duty, the manufacturer’s first Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) battery specifically for the commercial vehicle sector. The unit is designed for heavy-duty fleet and Public Service Vehicle (PSV) applications.
The YBX9625 is engineered to address the high electrical requirements of modern long-haul transport. Key features include:
- Hoteling Capabilities: Built to power heating, lighting, and onboard appliances during overnight rests without affecting the battery’s ability to start the engine.
- High Electrical Load Management: Capable of supporting continuous auxiliary systems such as refrigeration units, telematics, and advanced onboard computers.
