Point S Europe has announced the establishment of Point S Nordic, a regional headquarters designed to unify operations across Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark. The launch was formalised at the Point S Sweden annual conference in Göteborg on 7 February.
The Scandinavian network currently consists of over 300 independent retail outlets. Point S holds an estimated 10% market share in the passenger car tyre segment and 15% in the truck and commercial vehicle sector across the region. Point S Nordic aims to recruit approximately 100 new members over the next three years.
The new headquarters will coordinate supplier negotiations and fleet policies. Fabien Bouquet, Global CEO of Point S, stated:
“The creation of Point S Nordic is driven by our ambition to further strengthen our already significant footprint in Scandinavia and to enhance the profitability of our members. This will be achieved by consolidating our purchasing and commercial policies across Nordic markets, in alignment with our international strategy, while fully respecting regional characteristics.”
Martin Tillsten, CEO of Point S Sweden, added that the move “formalizes the close cooperation we already maintain on a daily basis,” while Bård Dalen, CEO of Point S Norway, emphasised that the mission is to support members who are “independent entrepreneurs.”
By consolidating commercial policies, the group intends to sustain high profitability levels across the four markets while maintaining the independence of its individual dealers.
