Ring Automotive has introduced the ULTRABOOST 2000A (RJS040), the highest-capacity model in its current jump starter line-up. The unit is designed to start engines up to 8.0L petrol and 4.0L diesel, covering a significant portion of the UK vehicle parc.
The device features a “Boost” button specifically for energising completely discharged batteries and includes long cables for improved accessibility. A integrated colour screen provides real-time status updates and clear user instructions; a green star confirms the engine is ready to turn over, while a red warning indicates reverse polarity protection. Marketing Director, Henry Bisson, commented:
“The ULTRABOOST is the latest product from Ring that expands on our already popular range of battery care items. While we have jump starters that can be used for a lot of vehicles, this new ULTRABOOST 2000A is our most powerful one yet, but can still fit in a glovebox if needed – making it convenient for all.”
The ULTRABOOST 2000A also functions as a portable powerbank capable of charging laptops, tablets, and smartphones, and includes an integrated LED light for use in low-light conditions. The unit is designed for rapid deployment, with the manufacturer stating it takes 60 seconds to connect and start an engine.
