They are designed to repair special equipment involved in demining in the territories liberated from Russian invaders.

The State Emergency Service’s press service reported this.

The IVECO-based special vehicles were purchased at the expense of members of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council.

His Highness Prince Ludwig of Bavaria and Count Hubertus Nesselrod donated these special tools and equipment.

Mobile car repair shops are designed to repair mechanized demining vehicles that perform tasks in the de-occupied territories. They are equipped with the most necessary tools for this purpose.

“These vehicles have already proven their efficiency. Rescuers are actually repairing equipment on the spot. Previously, it took time to return to the unit, repair the vehicle, and return to the place of work,” Vitalii Myronyuk, First Deputy Head of the State Emergency Service, noted.

In total, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine already has 33 such vehicles at its disposal.

In June, Ukrainian rescuers also received 69 special vehicles for various purposes from partners from the UK, USA, Japan, and Estonia.

Some of the equipment was transferred through the British FireAID Foundation. These are 29 vehicles, including tanker trucks, mobile control points, a pickup truck, and a ladder truck, received from the British public organization FireAID.

The U.S. Department of Atomic Energy donated 10 radiation and chemical reconnaissance vehicles. Estonia donated 9 minibusses that will be used as drone control centers and equipped with electronic warfare devices.

The Government of Japan transferred 2 armored mechanized demining vehicles to Ukrainian rescuers. In addition, 17 tanker trucks and 2 fire ladders arrived from Japan. The partners are currently working on ways to increase support for Ukraine to provide the SESU with even more equipment.
