Bosch Debuts DCP 800 Common-Rail Pump Test Bench for Diesel Service

Bosch Debuts DCP 800 Common-Rail Pump Test Bench for Diesel Service

Bosch is launching its new DCP 800 test bench for common-rail high-pressure pumps ahead of its debut at Automechanika Frankfurt.

The Diagnostic Common-Rail Pump system tests passenger car, commercial vehicle, and off-road common-rail pumps up to 2,700 bar system pressure. Powered by a direct-drive 25-kW electric motor, the bench utilises electronic flow measurement alongside automated inlet and counter-pressure regulation.

Standardised test plans achieve completion times of approximately 20 minutes per application. The unit covers Bosch CP1 to CPN6 pump series and integrates with existing CP1, CP3, and CBX8 test kits from EPS 815/708 systems, enabling workshops to adapt existing tooling.

Key operational features of the equipment include:

  • Drive mechanism: Direct-drive 25-kW electric motor operates without intermediate systems for high-pressure accuracy
  • Fast-mounting coupling: Quick-mount drive coupling system with adapter support for legacy coupling designs
  • Ergonomic setup: Three-sided access layout with a repositionable control screen for flexible workshop integration

The DCP 800 complements existing Bosch injector test benches, allowing workshops to manage pump and injector testing in-house.

The equipment will be showcased live at Automechanika Frankfurt from 8 to 12 September 2026. The complete trade fair preview is available here.
