Bosch Integrates AI Diagnostics and Tablet-Guided ADAS Calibration for Independent Garages

Bosch showcased integrated workshop equipment, software, and recycling partnerships at Automechanika 2026 in Frankfurt.

Updates across the manufacturer’s diagnostic and servicing lines include:

  • AI diagnostics: ESI[tronic] software incorporating an AI assistant to analyse vehicle data and suggest repair solutions
  • ADAS calibration: DAS 3000 system featuring SOVAL (Sensor Validation) tablet-guided vehicle positioning
  • Diesel servicing: DCP 800 test bench for common-rail high-pressure pumps
  • Circular economy: Strategic partnership with PreZero to develop component recycling, alongside expansion of the Bosch eXchange remanufacturing programme

Rupert Hoellbacher, Chairman of the Bosch Mobility Aftermarket divisional board, said:

“Mobility is changing rapidly. Our ambition is to accompany repair shops as partners on this journey – not with individual products, but with an intelligently connected, integrated system that helps them work successfully today and leverage the opportunities of tomorrow’s mobility,”

Carsten Kopp, member of the Bosch Mobility Aftermarket divisional board, added:

“In the aftermarket, sustainability is not decided by abstract concepts, but in the specific repair case,”

“When we remanufacture components, extend vehicle life cycles and enable economically attractive repairs for vehicle owners, we conserve resources and, at the same time, create new business opportunities for repair shops. This is precisely the strength of the circular economy: It combines ecological responsibility with economic benefits for our partners in the market.”
