Key site additions include:
- Floor space: 80,000 sq ft of new warehouse capacity and 17,000 sq ft of mezzanine space
- Storage capacity: Room for more than 100,000 additional small parts containers, with pallet spaces increasing from 13,000 to over 36,600
- Automation: Expansion of the existing WITRON automated logistics system with extra storage aisles, workstations, and conveyors
- Infrastructure: Upgraded repack and pick-and-pack facilities alongside road and parking improvements
Paul Dodgson, Managing Director of Ferdinand Bilstein UK Ltd, said:

“The additional capacity will give us the platform to extend our product offering, improve availability and support customers as their requirements evolve. We are building on the proven systems and processes already in place at Markham Vale, including our WITRON logistics system and investment in solar energy.”
“Once complete, Markham Vale will represent a facility valued at approximately £100 million. It demonstrates our confidence in the UK market and our commitment to providing customers with a broader product range, backed by the dependable service and support they expect from bilstein group.”
