GS Yuasa Battery Europe Ltd has expanded its GS automotive product line by launching six new Enhanced Flooded Battery (EFB) references. Released on 8th June 2026, these components extend battery coverage to more than 300,000 additional registered vehicles across the UK start-stop sector.
The product rollout introduces components compatible with more than 80 additional vehicle models. Within the expansion, reference EFB014 (GSB7014-065) fits Honda, Kia, and Subaru vehicles under the JIS standard, whilst the EN-standard EFB019 (GSB7019-100) applies to Audi A Series models and the Renault Master. Additional JIS-standard references include EFB031 (GSB7031-072) for Lexus and Subaru; EFB053 (GSB7053-045) for Honda, Mazda, and Suzuki; EFB054 (GSB7054-040) for Daihatsu; and EFB055 (GSB7055-040) for Toyota.
The engineered EFB units provide cycling performance and durability for vehicles utilizing start-stop systems, as well as conventional ignition vehicles experiencing high electrical demands, including delivery vehicles and taxis.
